Spring is a few days away and the newest trend for the season is “Pastel Eyes”. Pale yet subtly eye-catching, the colors range from lavender to turquoise and the finishes from shimmery to matte. Emmy Rossum (pictured here on the red carpet for the 2010 Independent Spirit Awards) has popped up in films such as “Poseidon” and ”The Phantom of the Opera” (earning a Golden Globe nomination for Phantom). As a child Rossum sang in the Metropolitan Opera and released her debut album as well as a Christmas album in 2007.

Looks like TopShop – the massive UK retailer that has being filling in for disappearing high-end fashion lines during these tough economic times is about to venture into cosmetic products arena as it stregthens it’s position in the retail industry. For Spring 2010 TopShop releases its first line of cosmetic products featuring an assortment of pieces for their core collection, adding various options seasonally! “The Radiant Child” is a Docufilm consisting of never before seen footage & interviews featuring the prolific 1980’s artist. Personal moments captured on film during the last two years of Basquiat’s life are nimbly compiled by director Tamra Davis, and the film which was released on Feb 21st includes the quote - ”He was one of the people I was really truly envious of…” from Madonna, serve to show just how creative and ahead of his time he truly was.

Camera Ready: Ashley Greene (Actress)
March 5th, 2010Actress Ashley Green proved her acting chops as a Vampire in two of the US’s highest grossing films Twilight & New Moon. Now the young beauty is out to prove she is just a fashionable as she frolicks around during Milan Fashion Week 2010. Ashley stunned in a streamlined LBD with bright cobalt blue trim and a cutout back. At Giorgio Armani, she wore a pink & purple trimmed silk dress with hot patent pink sandals. Lastly Ashley was spotted in a beautiful flowing Dolce & Gabana dress. This young beauty has a lot to look forward to as the 3rd installment of The Twilight Saga; Eclipse, is released this June.

Milan Fashion Week Designer: D&G

Dolce & Gabana’s collection featured eye catching Nordic prints, with an Alpine’s feel as the underlying theme throghout the colection. Apart from those pieces there were statement sheer floral skirts, lace & silk dresses. Very beautiful colors from deep red to navy. A new look for the designers but beautiful none the less.
